I learned that I was turned down for that job I interviewed for a few weeks ago. At least I no longer have to wonder about whether or not I got it. I am not worried. God will care for me and Craig. That is the most important thing to remember.
Besides, in the process of turning me down I have been asked to interview for a different position at the same place. So I will interview this week and I am excited about that. Perhaps it will work out this time. Either way, at least I am getting interviews instead of just putting in applications.

Awww, that just stinks, but obviously it wasn't the right place for you. Oh, and I'll keep praying for you if you keep praying for me. I'm almost positive now I'm going to quit. I'm not sure why, but I've just been stressed all the time with these kids. The only thing that makes me happy is seeing an end in sight. So, I'll give it a week or two and at the end of that, most likely I will be giving my 2 weeks notice. I know I signed on for a year, but this isn't written in blood and all they can probably do if fire me! Besides, I don't know why, but I think I know now that I've been holding off giving them all my vital info like copy of driver's license and SS card. Maybe there was a reason I was holding off for so long. Well, I really just need to courage now to approach this is a good way and quit. I also need to find another job and place to live. That's what I'll be working on this week, so I might join you in the ranks of unemployment.
Oh, guys...I'm sorry to hear about how things are working out for both of you. I'll make sure to add you guys to my prayers about jobs...I was hoping for a call today about my interview, but I guess that didn't pan out either.
Esther, I hope this second interview will work out better; it does sound good that they asked you back. And Foley, it probably is a better thing to leave if the kids are driving you nuts. I'm sure that there is a better place for you out there somewhere :-)
I am praying for both of you. Jobs are difficult things to get, but once you're in, you're in. That's the good thing. Unemployment has been enjoyable while it's lasted. But a job would be nice anytime now.
